It was resolved that the minutes of the parish council meeting held on the 9th June be approved as the official minutes.  Proposed by Cllr Davis, seconded by Cllr Williams and agreed by all.

Representatives of Allison Homes gave a pre application briefing of a proposed development of 80

new dwellings in Normanton Road. Members raised questions about access in and out via             Normanton Road or Cloot Drove, parking issues, drainage issues, property mix and construction access.

Cllr Elphee is organising an evening event on 15th August with music, beacon lighting and proclamation. Members agreed to purchase two VJ day flags

Members discussed the ongoing situation regarding lorries using West Bank.

Cllr Searle will liaise with the planning officer regarding work starting on the manor House.

The next town walkabout will need to be organised in September.

Caravan Park – review operation and numbers attending within licence granted.
