6. 1hr limited waiting for North Street
Correspondence has been received regarding the proposal of restricting parking along North Street Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm for 1 hr, this was discussed in depth and agreed that limiting the parking along part of North St could be beneficial – within a restricted area from the Bridge up to and including outside the Spar and the other side from the G&A up to the Chip shop. A proposal for an amendment to a 2hr parking restriction might be more feasible as not so restricting. The proposal for the limited 1hr parking along West St to be supported.
7. Parking – St Guthlac’s School Crowland
Correspondence had been received from a resident and LCC Cllr. N Pepper regarding the parking issues along St Guthlac’s Close, a request has been submitted that CPC initiate a request for a traffic regulation order (TRO – double yellow lines) The Planning Committee do not have delegated powers to deal with this matter and the Planning Committee are inclined that the council reject this proposal as it would only push the problem further along. This issue needs to be looked at within the school and its own area.
To be added to the Full Council agenda - Action TC
