Publication Scheme
The Parish Council publishes information in line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to ensure transparency and public access. Most information is available via the Council website, Parish Office, and in some cases notice boards.
Key areas of published information include:
Who we are and what we do
Details about councillors, their roles, contact information, the Parish Clerk, council offices, and the council’s organisational structure.
What we spend and how we spend it
Financial information such as annual accounts, budgets, audit reports, expenditure over £500, grants, contracts over £5,000, waste contracts, and financial regulations. Much of this is published annually, with some items released shortly after council approval.
Our priorities and performance
Reports and minutes from the Annual Parish Meeting outlining priorities and progress.
How we make decisions
Council meeting dates, agendas, supporting documents, minutes, consultation responses, planning application responses, and byelaws.
Policies and procedures
Documents covering how the council conducts its business, provides services, and manages staff.
Lists and registers
Maintained records such as the asset register, councillors’ interests, gifts and hospitality, and disclosure logs.
Access and charges:
Most information is free to view online or at the Parish Office. Charges may apply for copies, postage, or special requests, in line with statutory fees and legislation.
